This week I celebrated my 9th year as a Social Worker. When I began this journey, my parents were here, and I had hope that especially my Mom would have been here to celebrate this milestone achievement with me. Unfortunately, she transitioned four year prior to my graduation. Although painful, I am greatful that her friend Aunt Pat, My sister Toni, my sisterfriend Cheryl, her daughter Adrienne and my friend David came to celebrate my special moment with me. I have to highlight Aunt Pat's contribution in my life. Since the day of My Mometa's transition, Aunt Pat have been consistent in checking in to hear how I was doing weekly, on Mother's day and each birthday, she has called, text, or sent me Facebook messages to let me know that she was thinking of me. I am eternally thankful for the inspiring lessons that she have shared with me, especially on my most challenging days. I love and appreciate all that you have done for me Aunt Pat. You are an awesomely amazing prayer warrior Aunty Pat. Of equal I am greatful that the Most High have chose me for this profession, and for the many lessons that I have learned from the numerous individuals, that I have assisted in building and realizing their true they MATTER! #purejoy #changeAgent #SWforlife #socialworkerROCK #socialworkersofig #socialworker #bestoftheday
