Dare Mode was significantly easier than Curse Mode, though I would say a fair bit less fun. Still, proud of my game knowledge and ability to set up everything needed for a successful Room 46!

As you can see, I'd say I got pretty lucky with my dares. Essentially subtracting 20 steps made some days shorter than others, but previous attempts included dares like not being able to ride an elevator, so I'll take a Day One that's still more than twice as long as Curse Mode over (and longer with a not-burned-down Apple Orchard) over not being able to utilize some of the mechanics.

The two gem dares really worked pretty hand-in-hand with each other and actually helped me to conserve my resources better than if I didn't have them. Frequently I would start my day with 2 Gems from the mine, draft a Den, and just leave that gem there to grab either at the end of the day, or only when I needed it to still have access to important rooms like Lab or Security.

And then by the time I unlocked Dare 4, I already had Conservatory in the draft pool so it really didn't affect my strategy hardly at all, other than removing a potential spot to get a dead end out of the pool early. Definitely an easier Dare Mode run than it could have been!
