There is something very magical about swings. As a child in the local neighbourhood gardens in Italy, I used to love the adrenaline of swinging as fast as I could, with the excitement of closing my eyes and pushing through the air as fast as I could, only to look at the sky and breathing in the air at full speed! The air this afternoon was so cold, but the memory of it all warmed my heart up straight away. It’s funny to see how certain memories, particularly connected with our experiences of being alive, never fade, they stay with us forever .
