slowly brushing skin under eyes with your thumb seems such an intimate and soft thing for me i feel like richie n eddie would be doing this while gently holding each other kissing and talking in soft quiet voices omg so sweet

feel like ive included this in every fic ive written bc its one of my fave things Ever especially since i headcanon both richie and eddie having freckles under their eyes so they definitely like tracing each others freckles gently with their fingertips (before kissing said freckles), or just brushing their thumb under the others eye in a soft gesture of love/affection/comfort
