1/28/2014: Squat Day
so, currently I'm doing Wendlers 5/3/1 programming. On the third week of my second cycle. I recently started lifting again after a 6 month hiatus.
low bar back squat: 45# 1x5 75# 1x5 95# 1x5 115# 1x3 140# 1x5 160# 1x3 180# 1+ (2!)
afterwards i supersetted kb swings and back extensions
conditioning:
barbell complex (5 reps each): deadlifts barbell rows ohp lunges
bar x 1 set
10# x 5 sets
If my overhead press wasn't so weak, I might be able to use heavier weight. I'm really trying to hit my arms hard from now on in hopes of increasing my muscle and strength.
Started counting calories and tracking macros again about a week ago versus just casually trying to cut. Trying to get more serious about cutting my body fat down. I want to see what my muscle looks like underneath all of this fat. Could feel it a bit in my squat.
