i caught up with sword king manhwa. the plot is going places and so does the artstyle which is so so sad to see. bits and pieces of the original vibe and humor remain. rip another potential man(hwa), ypu could've moved mountains if you were popular

no matter how bad and illogical the new seasons are, i still hold sk dear. i can't put it to words other than "there is no bond stronger than that of a weird young adult and the mediocre media that changed their life trajectory long ago" yeah

i consider making a separate post about the wrongs of sk's writing and where it has fallen of the hardest. as of now i'll say that latna could've been a banger hsr planet

The spanish set of cards but as darkners. 10 is knight, 11 is horse (despite having a person, yes) and 12 is king. There are no queens here and traditional spanish cards have no joker either. Could probably expand the concept further but this is all I had in mind

Survival Story of a Sword King in a Fantasy World

3/5 stars

I managed to finish the novel version of this and barely remember anything because so much is going on. I had to have a doc of notes in order to follow along with the story. This may be just my case because I read multiple books at once and tend to forget a lot of things. 

In terms of the webtoon, I'm up to date. I liked the part where the MC realizes how his actions or mere presence can affect both him and the people who care about him. I didn't necessarily like that he just ran away, but he didn't have many options in the first place. Another aspect I liked was the arks of some of his more long-term companions. 

Still, it gets repetitive at times and can cause you to want to drop it. If you don't like manga to be repetitive at times, then I don't recommend it because I don’t believe you can skip the fights because there are important bits of information for the story in between the fighting. I do recommend it if you can stand manga to be repetitive at times and like an isekai that is action-packed and has game-like dynamics.

was reading "martial god regressed to level 2" and omg i love it, but the sword king or whatever hsi title is, the mc's brother in law or the father of his neice, hes rlly cute wth, like i actually hated him at the start but as it progresses SPOILER we know hes def being mind controlled and manipulated by the weird little b!tch whose rlly getting on my nerves now lol. yh thats it i thought hes cute

i like his tired kinda ling haored shaggy look he looks so desperate and sad lol yum
