On a related note. I need help with a really important decision. I think my next sewing project is going to be a fencing cape inspired by power wings because the way their wing moves immediately reminded me of that and I have to believe it was an intentional design choice… I want it to be reversible with the regular / enraged wings. Do you see the vision.

(fencing capes are short renaissance capes, could be worn normally or over just one shoulder to free up the sword arm, conceal a dagger, or be actually used in combat as a shield / to wrap around the opponent’s blade. they’re also cunty as hell)

The question though is whether I wanna do a black or red base for the gold side.. HEMA gear is all black and I can’t decide if I prefer matching black or the higher contrast of red… what do we think gamers
