As far back as the 90s if not earlier, the phrase "a sword forged from the finest tempered chocolate" has lived rent free in my head.

Now, we have a smith who could do that orphaned concept justice. I don't know if folding layer upon layer of chocolate would even look like sword steel, but if anyone could make it work it would be Amaury Guichon.

I like how everyone's doing a marketable plushy for their projects and brands and here I am trying to think up a way to raise money to get some blacksmith in his backyard to forge a lifesize sword replica of my sword oc Prince Luther.

Got this guy forged out for a commission today. This one has been stressing me a little a lot of work in this patternweld and I wasn't sure I calculated the volume of everything correctly . Forged out it's the right thickness the right length and the twist ends right where I want to end the Fuller! When I was first getting interested in metalsmithing I met up with this guy who's a professional smith. I'll never forget that all he bothered to talk about was welding. I told him I'm interested in swordsmithing and armor, and he just kinda cringed and said "That's pretty hard and messy work, young lady."

It was very much phrased in a "You're a girl, so you shouldn't do that" sort of way. But oh buddy, if you think I'm not man enough to do swordsmithing, you don't know me at all. If anything I'm gonna make my swords out of pure spite now (which is 98% of my motivation by volume tbh)
