Star Wars Prequel Appreciation Day 2016
my 10 favorite things about the prequels @swpas (info)
1.the ambiguity of evil. in episode 1 to 3 we see the many forms evil can take. good and evil are not black & white but a changing shade of grey. the chancellor as the highest democratic installment in the galaxy undermining the republic and turning the chosen one to the dark side… lucas knew exactly what he was doing. in the end the senate & jedi were so focused on destroying the seperatists, that they didn’t suspect an enemy form within.
Fighting For Prequel Rights
There’s a new blog up on Tumblr for PT fans, see the link above. Go here for more details from SWPAS: https://starwarsprequelappreciationsociety.wordpress.com/2015/09/14/this-is-star-wars-too-is-live/
theladyfromplanetx replied to your post:I know you have a deep appreciation for the Star Wars prequel trilogy movies, but I must ask: you have seen them, right?
Good for you Catie. I have seen and own the prequel trilogy myself along with the original trilogy. I once once the entire saga in a row and had many ah-ha moments. I’m also a frequent visitor to the Star Wars Prequel Appreciation Society.
Ah yes, the great six-in-one-go approach. I once introduced one of my roommates to Star Wars that way. It is a lot of fun, if you've got the endurance - and of course it's only going to get harder with the release of the sequel trilogy. I'm curious, did you do it in release order or chronological order?
And the Star Wars Prequel Appreciation Society deserves all the awards. (There's a tumblr, too, if anyone else wants a little more prequel positivity on their dash.)
