why are chipped pots so hard to find. it’s not my fault the first and only sinistea I caught was an antique form
I think my Trucy Wright look is good now so I’ll show my card and team so far. Thinking up Ms. Hat was a galaxy brain moment for me
Ok so now that I finished the game I’m gonna post my Thoughts which are: a lot of the graphical issues aren’t really that noticeable in handheld mode (can’t speak for playing on a TV). I played using an entirely new Pokemon team so I wasn’t affected by dexit but I’m still sad I can’t transfer my typhlosion from my first ever pokemon game over (Shes 10 years old! I would have loved to use her as part of my post-game team). The characters were all amazing, both in design and in personality - Hop seems like the kind of person I’d be friends with as a kid and I genuinely felt bad whenever I beat him in a battle [same as how I felt about Hau!]. The gym leaders designs especially were really cool to me. Character customisation was excellent but I do wish that, in the same vein as ACNL, maybe we could have had all clothing, hair and makeup be available for both genders or something or at least give us better long hairstyles for boys. The ‘long hair’ looks kind of like Calem’s honestly + there’s a reason I usually play as a girl in Pokémon games (I prefer the girls clothes usually!) I’m struggling to come up with actual negatives right now but I think that’s because I just finished the game. They’ll come to me eventually. One major thing though is that yes sometimes the draw distance and characters/object popping into view is jarring, and also my game has lagged a few times in the wild area but other than that nothing huge sticks out to me honestly. OH. One major issue is that Game Freak said they were cutting Pokémon to ensure better and higher quality animations or something: riddle me this then game freak: why does Cinderace, a Pokémon with TWO kick animations, not use a kick animation when using the move double kick and instead bounces on the spot? And by bounces I mean the model moves up and down it’s not like the character is jumping or anything. Stuff like that kind of lowered the quality of the game for me. It was still super fun, I enjoyed it and I’ve had a great weekend playing it. (Also, the game took me just under 24hours total to play which is about what BW took 12 year old me so it’s a decent length for a main series Pokémon game imo)
this is the look until i get my full ghost team
