Maybe this is irrelevant or maybe not but Imma still gonna put it on Tumblr for my own reminder cause of my tendency with randomly destroying my pc settings…(I accidentally deleted something while doing some pc cleaning) I don’t know what it is but the fact that my SWTOR didn’t launch after clicking play on launcher says I did something?? Anyhow, I found the simple solution on the SWTOR forums: 1) Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time. (The [Windows] key is the key with the Windows icon on it) 2) Copy the following in to the text box and press ok: %localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings 2) Open the client_settings.ini file and ensure the following are displayed within, or edit/add if so required: •Fullscreen = false •D3DFullScreen = false •RefreshRate = 60 4) Save and close the file. 5) Start the game as normal. 6) Change graphics settings within the game as desired. Mine didn’t have the ‘D3DFullScreen’ on the client_settings.ini so all I did was edit ‘Fullscreen = false’ & it works just fine too.
