Similarly to Anya's powers that "disappear" during the new moon ?

In any case, it's good to have confirmed that Sigmund knows who Anya is and that Desmond is involved in Project "C" (a derivative of Project Apple ?).

They're indeed a particularly odd group with weird initiation rites.

Unless Shopkeeper is the former director of the hospital Loid works at, who doesn't show in the photo ?

This idea would further the theories that Yor's strength is the result of past experiments.
