This was odd: Sarada was usually quick to greet her father (or at least make her presence known) whenever he returned from the village, yet he hadn't seen or heard from her all day. The door was unlocked when Sasuke had got home, and having dropped by to visit, he already knew that Sakura was currently working at the hospital.

"Sarada?" He called out as he knocked on the girl's bedroom door. "Is everything okay?"

                Uncle Naruto's here!!! Ye'r parents are lettin' me babysit ya!!"

Sasuke grinned softly, "How'd your day go?" He looked over at his daughter with a slight smirk.
