I came on after three months of silence to see literally if anybody had left any asks or anything out of curiosity and one of my final posts managed to get 86 notes and piss off a load of SasuSakua fans.

That's it, that is my legacy - pissing off fans something I myself ship.

Reaching to grab his child's hand, Sasuke's eyes went wide. Clearly he was shocked - and perhaps there was even some hurt in his eyes - at the suggestion. He was always travelling, leaving Sarada alone with her mother but surely...

Surely she knew that he loved her?

Surely it should have been obvious that nobody mattered more than her?

Surely the way Sasuke had treated his daughter in all 12 years of her life-

Sasusaku is actually the biggest ship I have for Sasuke so Please tell me people aren't getting defensive over my observation. I admit that one night stand was stretching it; it was meant to be an extreme example of their relationship isn't clearly defined.

I don't know what rock you lot have been living under if you think non married couples can't have a kid. And I'm not saying they're not in love; I was giving examples. I actually quite like the idea that they're not married yet they're still making things work with the kid and all. And by making things work, I do mean love and all that

Hmmm? Where'd you get that idea from? Did I say something to suggest that because if so, I never meant to imply that I thought Sarada wasn't Sasuke's. I word things awakwardly sometimes so sorry if I suggested something like that.

They have an uchiha crest in their home on The box by Sakura's feet. Not to mention the word Sarada uses for father is reserved for close child/father relationships. Not even the other kids in the village, besides perhaps Bolt who changed to touchan as boys often do when they get older, call their parents in the affectionate way Sarada does. Inojin and shikadai are more formal, which doesn't mean they aren't close, but mama and papa are much more telling of the relationship.

Hmm well if anything that says something of Sasuke/Sarada's relationship. They can be close without Sasusaku being married. Ok the one night stand child thing was a stretch, but perhaps Sasuke and Sakura could be in love or whatever without being married.

Evening shadows filled the streets, it was oddly silent, but Lee didn’t even notice, he just sat there with his green tea and awaited Gais return, he should be back in the next few hours, at least that was what Tsunade-sama had told him.

Lee closed his eyes and sighed, “Maybe I should make curry udon tonight. Extra spicy, Sensei will surely like it.”

Poison didn’t normally affect him, thanks to the years with Orochimaru, so that must have been a very, very potent one. She knew that because she had tried to kill him once with a poisoned kunai… but that wasn’t the moment to remember such things.

“Sasuke-kun…”

Instantly her mind was again focused on his wound; this time trying to locate any sign of poison left in his system. She knew Konoha’s medics were more than capable of healing him but… she couldn’t help it. She needed to be sure he was alright.

“Why didn’t you tell me? I could have gone and helped you, you know. You’re still hiding something from me, I can see that. And if you don’t want to say it, that’s fine… but I will find out what it is, sooner or later.”

Sakura didn’t mean to sound angry, but he was the only one to blame, really. If she hadn’t asked, he would hide that from her forever! And even then, he was still hiding something.

"-Because I deserved it!" Sasuke's outburst must have sounded rather sudden given how subdued he'd been on the topic a minute ago. When Sakura was worried, those around her would never here the end of it; better to just get it out before he changed his mind and was forced to deal with further pestering. "Tch - annoying."

"The thing about a child being able to do it wasn't an analogy - my assailant had to be 9 or 10 at the absolute oldest." Such a thing should be utter humiliation for a shinobi of the Uchiha's skill, yet his shame did not sound as if it had come from embarrassment.

Himawari blushing whenever he comes to the house to visit and hiding behing her parents legs.

At first Sasuke thought she was afraid of him and was a bit hurt because he secretly adores Naruto’s children.

And then she gave him a sunflower while blushing tomato red telling him

"A p-pretty flower for a-a p-p-pretty Uncle"

and that was when Sarada first activated her sharingan

and Boruto his Byakugan.

"But Himawari you said you loved Papa the most, whyyyy Sasuke you temeeee"

Sarada should have known that her father wouldn’t let this go easily. Both of them were similar in that way, but for once the younger Uchiha would prefer to let the matter drop. She knew those were documents were ones she should have never come across, but it was too late for that now.

Sighing softly, she turns and goes to her bed, slowly pulling herself onto the mattress. She easily recounted what the other documents held. “Some tell about how you deflected from the village. Others about you and uncle Naruto fighting. One also mentioned how you killed your brother.”

"-I can't deny any of that. The papers seem accurate, so far." Sasuke wasn't sure how Sarada's opinion of him would change, even if she were to hear his side of things. He'd never been one to care for what others though of his goals, nor what actions he'd take to achieve them, but it was different when one was talking to their own flesh and blood.

...But it was because this was his daughter that he needed to be honest, no matter where the truth might lead. It shouldn't be up to Sasuke to decide what Sarada needed to know. He supposed in that way, he was different to Itachi. "I admit I was rogue for almost half a decade...And I fought both your actual uncle and Naruto. One died, the other lost his arm because of my actions...They're not the only family I've tried to hurt either."
