Here is a little doodle inspired by a scene in chap 28 of Ruination of lucifer ( a fic written by Syaunei )
I looooove this fic so much and it's a pleasure to have a new chapter to read at my work every Monday.
Here are the originals I scribbled because I have nothing to do at my job when I'm stuck at the checkout and there is no client haha.
( what a great power to always have something to do only with a pen and some paper *machiavellian laugh* )
I'm not an artist, but I decided to combine the existing illustrations for the fic and a bit of fiddling around to make a mock book cover for my favorite RadioApple fic, Ruination of Lucifer by @syaunei (with absolutely epic illustrations by @betti2024).
Art by Betti2024, the top bit of the back cover text was pulled from the fic's description on Ao3, and then I added a bit more back cover text and fiddled around with some clip art and formatting in PowerPoint to make a romance novel-style front and back cover ^_^

Seriously y'all go read this fic, I am positively FERAL over it. I've been a fan of Syaunei for ages, Timeo Trilles Et Dona Ferentes is one of my fav DS9 fics ever, and so I was DELIGHTED to see she'd started writing Hazbin fic. All her writing is epic, five stars, flawless, greater than great. So go and read Ruination of Lucifer and join me in the Kermit flailing with delight, and then go read her DS9 fic and flail with delight even more.

Can anyone recommend anything similar to Under the Blind Moon by @syaunei ?
Something longish, bonus for H/C.
Not that I mind re-reading UTBM every six months buttt....
Bless.
making a formal declaration into the radioapple void that I have been deeply and personally hurt by today's chapter of Ruination of Lucifer and I haven't stopped thinking about it all day /pos

I LIVE for the chapter updates!!!! I've read your fic REPEATEDLY just to recap all the little details in the scenes from each chapter. You really have a well-executed talent for writing! I am and forever will be a loyal fan of your story!
Hi! I was reading a lot of your fics, and I'll be commenting on one or two of them when I can find some, but I really am super curious: where did you get the idea of calling Garak's junk a 'thorn', and the three indents on the Cardassian body things like Sky? Im sure Ive seen the indents being named that somewhere, but I can't remember I really enjoy all of that and feel inspired by you using it all ;u;
Thanks for the ask, dear anon!
I got the idea for thorn kind of organically, from reading other fics where people used ch'och (spear, I think), and likely from trying to come up with Cardassian idioms or ways of thinking. It's also possible I was heavily influenced by "A Stitch in Time" and took some of its imagery unknowingly (fairly certain roots are mentioned). It seemed fitting to use a plant metaphor. Also, I kind of hate writing the word penis in most iterations, so thorn is a brilliant way to get around it, haha!
As for Sky, Earth and Deep Spring - they are my own invention, since I wanted to stop stealing/using all of tinsnip's and Vyc's terms. Deep Spring was inspired by 'the rain', a concept of copious Cardassian fluids, so I just riffed on that. I mean, when you really think about it, this is just like Chakras, revamped for Cardassian purposes. I headcanon that these names are of Hebitian origin and were originally spiritual (because I think those 3 spoons are used to detect electromagnetic fields of other Cardassians), and that the terms persisted long after the Hebitians were gone.
Your acting in Little Achievements was great!
Thank you very much, anon! :D I had an obscene amount of fun and it probably shows!
