I’m glad that the Sycamore Gap Tree was able to make a little cameo in 28 Years Later.
Took me by surprise since I recognised it. I guess the film helped to immortalise it in a small way.
(Danny Boyle obviously filmed those bits before those two ARSEHOLES cut the poor thing down for a laugh!!!! Fucking morons!!!)

After well known North East tree was chopped down, people share their memories of the landmark.
The UK is shocked & horrified, outraged & saddened, by this senseless act of destruction. Our hearts go out to the people of the North East. It truly feels like murder, as mentioned in one of the two examples of the comments by folk, which I've screenshot from the article above. The person who cut this iconic tree down has cut through the hearts of the nations of the UK, and the wider world 😨😡😔😢😢😢

Tree: Cut me down! And I will come back! AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN!
Who the fuck just casually chops down a beloved famous tree just for the lols? Like damn! Where’s that one poem about nature that ends with like “you take in the beautiful nature and then reach for a knife”
i've just read that the iconic sycamore gap tree was felled by vandals, i’m devastated.
