What was on your plate this past weekend? Color me happy, ran into my favorite Advanced Bartender and Certified Expert @William.Perbellini at @SYKitchen for our anniversary dinner in Santa Ynez. Perbellini made us his Smoked Old Fashioned (see video in this post for that) and a Barrel Aged Negroni. Chef Luca, who was too busy for me to even try for a photo, made our tummies happy with a Globe Artichoke with tons of mediterranean seasoning, Caesar salad and the pizza special that night: tons of shaved white truffle over a pizza baked with burrata and mozzarella cheeses.
