“Monster“- 2019 Trinity Blood Never Forget - Theme Day
Monster in the theology of the Dark Ages:
"monstra sunt in genere humano" = "Monsters are a part of the human race" (Augustinus).
They could be animals mythological hybrids or human being. They are called: FABULOUS RACES / WONDER PEOPLE
FABULOUS RACES were in the antiquity: foreign peoples of other continents. The concept of the monstrous peoples (fabulous races / wonder peoples) was in the Middle Ages different than today. He was also associated with the MIRACULOUS / MARVELLOUS.

For this year theme day I decided to introduce some cute little monsters from the world of Trinity Blood who didn't get enough attention till yet.
ISAAK’S MONSTERS

To understand his „monster“creations we have to check one of his aliases which gives us a clue about his pets.
Paracelsus ( *1493 Switzerland † 1541 Austria):
He was a physician, philosopher of nature, alchemist, astrologer, theologian and social ethicist of the 16. Century in Europe. He was one of the most famous European doctors at all. He wrote in his book “Liber de nymphis, sylphis, pygmaeis et salamandris et de caeteris spiritibus” (The book of Nymphs, Sylphis, Pygmaeis and Salamandris and others Spirits) about a many partially mythological beings.
He wrote about these elemental (Elementargeist, Naturgeist) who are connected to the elements:
According Paracelsus they have a lack of a human soul!!! (But they can get a soul if they marry a human)
The ideas of these beings were adopted in Rosicrucianism.
Isaak calls his creatures “künstliche Geist” (artificial ghosts). They are made in the laboratory of Isaak in the tower and they can be summoned by him. They can get killed but can be summoned next time again.
