Changes
So, you may have noticed, apart from my one Kakegurui drawing, I haven't posted much art lately. Let me tell you a bit about why that is. In the past, my main motivation to draw was gaining the recognition and respect of others. I focused on art that I was not comfortable with and which didn't bring me too much joy in the process of drawing. I didn't really have an overall goal or any real focus. I just drew to "get better" without even knowing what that meant. This kind of became apparent to me due to changes in my personal life in latter half of last year.
Now however, I feel like I have found new motivation and especially new goals for my art. Also, I see now, that focusing too much on art is both, pressuring and impacting my social life in a negative way, as it keeps me from meeting new people, because I don't leave home on the weekends.
Thus, drawing won't be anywhere near my main focus in life from now on. I probably won't display at conventions in the foreseeable future and there will be far less fan art. Instead, whenever I draw, I will now work on my original ideas and projects, which will also deviate quite a bit from my previous works.
Anyways, thanks for your support this far and I hope you will like the new projects I have in store for you.
