Ulic's family is unsupportive 😔

Tales of the Jedi takes place in an interesting space in the Star Wars timeline. With Exar, Ulic, and Aleema re-founding the Sith Region, few Jedi in recent memory can conceptualize one of their own turning to the Dark Side.

Throughout the comic, Ulic's friends repeatedly try to host interventions for him, often just going "Ah, so you're still evil. Okay, buddy, hope you feel better, see you in a few months."

Except Sylvar, but that's why she's the best.

In this piece, I experimented with a slightly simplified style using a new brush. I think I prefer the style to the brush, but I was glad to step out of my comfort zone for a bit.

Couple of experimental portraits I did of Capella and Zielona over the holidays to shake off some of the rust!

Both were done entirely with CSP's gouache brush, which has a really pleasing texture/flow when using it. Zielona's was almost entirely on one layer and reminded me that I'm not a fan of painting xD;

It does suck being part of a fandom with not much canon material but it does give me the opportunity to make up a lot of shit I just like. I don’t have to worry about it conflicting with canon since canon is 3 sentences and a sketch on a coffee stained napkin.

I can just say Sylvar is a lesbian and she’s in love with Nomi Sunrider. Ulic Qel-Droma is terrible with commitment because master arca had a nasty divorce and bitched about it constantly. Exar Kun is allergic to cats. Who the fuck cares, can’t for sure say I’m wrong.

Big fan of howliteart and I just loved her Capella WoW AU design that I couldn't resist but to draw her! It was such a blast to work with and I am super happy with the result :) This is not my character. The character belongs to Howlite.

i love how alastair’s 3/4th profile sort of looks like a catfish (one of the cutest fish imo), also does he get shit from the other Thalmor and bigoted Altmer because he’s mixed? or some sort of weird sympathy-disgust, like “this is a horrible situation you’re in, not being pure like you thought you were, & your status and power is going to tank and we would hate if this happened to us, your parents shouldn’t have done that to you also don’t touch me freak” because of the attitude of seeing bosmer as animalistic / straight up wild animals? sorry if this is a weird question, but i hardly ever see mixed race skyrim ocs, ESP Thalmor, and i’m like. obsessed with your guy here.

he 100% gets shit from other thalmor once the horns come in and the secrets out. like fully excommunicated once they find out because hes from this big noble family over in summerset so you KNOW that will be THE scandal of the year. literally the whole reason hes even IN skyrim is. hold on i said this better in discord .

basically this ☝️. and so his father (higher ranking thalmor) goes this is wonderful. we can finally send our gayass weak son to go do something useful <3 and goes and makes him post in solitude. (they dont trust him to do anything useful so hes just there because his father said so.)

her name is Lyra and she is a smart woman. Once Alastair was sent to skyrim she went on a "vacation" to cyrodiil for "a few weeks" (she never went back to summerset after LOL) i like them all alot..... my elves <3
