No, no. Her mother would be famous. Ines would not. Well... not famous through her name, at least.

Truthfully, Ines wouldn't want to use her mother's reputation in order to peddle her citrus scale Ao3 fanfiction to the public. As much of a deviant as she is, and could be if she put her mind to it, it would honestly feel weird using her parents' names instead of working to create her own reputation herself. She's already gotta contend with being compared to them both on a regular basis.

So, if her mother is archbishop of the Church of Seiros, a venerated war hero, and an advisor to the king of Faerghus, the pressure to be anywhere close to that would be suffocating. Ines, for all her weirdness, would hate that. A lot.

For the most part, her hobby would remain just that: a hobby, something people don't know a lot about unless she mentions it to them directly.

sylvain's romance ending with byleth felt out of place to me, specifically the 'taking my eyes out' bit. I feel like i have a completely different reading on him if that was his ending...

I agree that his S support is not well written. That "take his eyes out" line and Byleth questioning if she can trust him are the biggest offenders. Cause the whole point of Sylvain is that he isn't out messing around because he just has a wandering eye or wants to cheat, it's a purposeful way to sabotage himself and his relationships before he gets hurt. So at this point, there's really no danger of him cheating just for the hell of it, and Byleth is definitely smart enough to know that.

I do however love the ship. (Sylvain and Felix are Byleth's reserve husbands.) I think they are really well matched. Sylvain has the social skills and emotional intelligence to read Byleth's muted expressions and be a buffer against overwhelming social situations. In return she is so straightforward and guileless that she can put a stop to his spiraling thoughts, and he never has to question if she's being fake with him. Then at night they can both chill on the couch reading their separate books in peace 💙

One line I do like in his S support is when he says something to the effect of "maybe I can't marry you because of my past actions but I want to try" and I think that shows some growth, because he wouldn't normally put himself out on a limb like that with the potential of rejection based on who he is and not his status. And I do like their end cards for all routes!

Fulgurbugs was amazing to work with as always! I cannot recommend them enough. They got the coloring exactly right on Sylvain's new hair and dealt with my various "Wait actually can you change--" messages.
