There are few things that can be as fascinating and wondrous as the small #hands of a child. Devoid of the #stories of time spent, they exude that exuberant energy of discovery and eagerness so many adults spend many years forgetting to express with their own hands. Over time, we begin to portray habits, preferences, cast positions and usage. Sometimes, if I feel too shy about a person, I’ll just be content with watching their hands move about and express themselves, and let them tell me their stories, their woes, and aspirations until I go about my day with gratitude for sharing another story with me. I used to work as a game designer and coder for an rpg game called the Lazarus Project. This is an illustration I did because I liked this game so much. She is not awakened yet, peacefully slumbering in her tank. Little does she know that soon she will be abruptly extracted out of her embryonic tank and thrown into a world far, far from planet Earth, on which she’s never set foot and neither have the cells she was spawned from. Many years have past since humans figured out to travel across the Universe and conquer planets. Many centuries have passed since humans figured out how to create super-powered synthetic life forms.
