ok, but what if...
Loki and Sylvie need to create a nexus event to get out of Lamentis, and to create the nexus they have to kiss - or even fuck - each other; so the TVA Goes to them and they find them in the middle of it. 👀
I’ve heard that people are hating on Tom Hiddleston because of the Loki and Sylvie kiss and now I am legitimately pissed off.
Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino are actors. They’re paid to act as these characters and aren’t the writers of the show. Why is this difficult to understand? Why do I have to say this multiple times? It’s not rocket science! Don’t spread hate, doxx, send death threats, nothing! These are human beings that need to be treated as such. They had nothing to do with how this show was gonna go. All they did was the act scenes.
Besides the Sylvki kiss wasn’t even genuine. It was manipulation and a metaphor for how Loki managed to find growth in his character and find “free will” from the usual betrayal, losing, and etc. It was a comparison between Sylvie and Loki as characters. Sylvie can’t leave behind her Loki-like tendencies but Loki has managed to.
Also, I’m sick of seeing this whole tension between the ships. It’s complete nonsense and uncalled for. I see fellow Lokius shippers nagging and “calling Sylvki shippers out” for liking selfcest or saying that the ship is gross. I personally don’t ship Sylvki because I do personally believe that it’s wrong and written horribly. Then I see Sylvki shippers claiming that all of us lokius shippers are biphobic, heterophobic, or hate women. That isn’t the case in the slightest but go off I guess.
This whole thing is childish and tiring to shippers like me and many others who don’t care what others like. We loved the show and we want to love our fandom but with the whole hating actors, hating shippers, and starting nonsensical ship wars is ridiculous. We can do better. We’re not children. We’re young adults or adults (whatever you call yourself) that know better than to start shit and be toxic.
Everyone has a right to their own opinions but you can’t put others down for theirs. We can have conversations in a civil manor but we can’t fight. Fighting leads to nothing or supremacy or whatever. Just please for the love of the Universe. Can we just get along, treat people like human beings, and learn some respect. Cause if we can’t, I’m sending folks to the Gulag personally.
opinion on loki ship discourse:
people from all sides are being annoying please just stop being hateful
Just watched episode 4 of Loki, and whether or not your grossed out by the whole "falling in love with an alternate reality version of yourself" thing (although imo it's not half as big a deal as some people are making it out to be, and it's a bit strange to compare to incest since that's not at all what siblings are,) I need to know how anyone came out of episode 3 without even suspecting that they were setting up a romance? the writing was on the wall, and I felt it was fairly obvious. but people see what they wanna see, I guess.
From my perspective, this and wandavision are the first canon mcu ships to have any degree of chemistry in actual years, so I'm happy about it.
loki finale spoilers without context
Apparently, I learned absolutely NOTHING from the Sylvki outrage, because my only take-away from SM:NWH is that Maguire Peter and Garfield Peter would be adorable together
How it be going in the MCU fandom now:
