Like the season finale or not, the whole Loki series felt like a futuristic d&d campaign?
Like the plot hook was getting picked up by the TVA, and you meet a kind dude who needs help dealing with someone who’s been killing his coworkers.
Then it escalated to uncovering a giant conspiracy, meeting a bunch of Variations of yourself fighting for a throne at the end of time, beating an eldritch dragon demon thing, both kissing and being betrayed by a version of yourself who then kills god and starts an inter-dimensional war before getting sent back to a version of the place you began where no one knows you??????
It’s very “d&d campaign gotten wildly out of hand very quickly” and IM LIVING FOR IT

❝ they’re all gone . . . i couldn’t stop them . ❞ it’s spoken in a pained hush , tears begin to roll down her pale cheeks .

“ Technically, no, I’m not supposed to be here, and I’m not big on going behind my boss’ back. But Hunter B-15 is acting weird and Hunter C-20 is... Look, I just really need to talk to you. All I’m asking for is a little cooperation. ”

“You’d think they have any pastries around here? Maybe a nice chocolate croissant, or a donut - cause I’m famished.” A pause, then “ - Have you ever had a donut?”
