Mozart's Symphony 40, first movement.
This massive piece is Mozart's Symphony 40, as I see it because of synesthesia! I worked so hard in this and I'm so proud of how it came out! It's a 16x20 which is smaller than I usually go for symphony work, but I like how it came out!
8x10 prints are available here!
How to play Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Symphony 40 (Great G minor symphony)
R.I.P. Nikolaus Harnoncourt. One of the greatest interpreters of Western early music to the Classical period

It's kind of funny- I mean, a lot of people will read this and think, 'Geez, that's obvious'- but I was listening to some Mozart (as you do) while I was in the shower, and it's pretty amazing that people do write classical music. Any music, really, is extraordinary. But instrumental music is another language- we speak in words, and the tone we say those words in also carry another message or meaning. But musicians notice those tones and sounds, and translate them into their own language. Classical music and instrumental music carries another type of language, and each song is like an individual foreign language, except the only difference is that each language is almost slightly private, because only the composer can completely understand each component.
Okay. I went into the shower to wash my hair, not to think about shit like this.
