       FAINT  LIGHT  FILLING  UP  THE  HALLWAYS  OF  THE  SHIP ,  DISTANT  NOISE  TEMPTING  BRUNETTE  TO  WALK  THEM  LATE  AT  NIGHT .  goosebumps  emerging  on  pale  skin ,  body  still  adjusting  to  the  cold  artificial  air .  it  felt  like  a  vivid  dream ,  beautiful  tones  blurring  scientists  mind  like  a  symphony  of  long  forgotten  home .  only  when  she  came  closer ,  fawn  eyes  were  able  to  take  a  peek  into  slightly  opened  room .  MAGICAL ,  almost  enchanting  he  sat  there  with  a  plain  flute  in  talented  hands  as  it  was  him  who  brought  music  to  humankind .    ❛   i  did  not  knew  you  could  play  an  instrument  .   ❜   ,  amelia  finally  dared  to  speak  (  knowing  that  david  must  already  had  noticed  her  presence  ) .  thin  border  between  flesh  and  metal ,  almost  not  to  recognize .  WHAT  WAS  HE  if  not  a  soul  trapped  in  a  machine ,  able  to  create  such  wonderful  things  ?

He saved her life. It seemed so simple for him to do, just the way he grabbed her and kept her from being taken by the storm. Only he was capable of doing so and he had done it without hesitation. She thanked him that day, but had it been enough? Being so close to death had her re-evaluating her choices, her decisions. She valued life more so now than before. 

They needed to examine the specimen they successfully retrieved. She was anxious about what they might learn. Would this question her faith or make it stronger? Fingertips rubbed against the cross hanging around her neck.
