Oh sweet summer child, beards and body hair ain't uncommon around these parts.

Perhaps not in the land where Ilmarinen carried out his tasks, the land where one soldier stood against hundreds or where the people brave the coldest winters and the hottest saunas, my wonderful FinnFriend!

But I hear from my friends who live in the more "touristy" areas of Europe that "Hairy is scary". Bah, I shoulda have expected as much from coward nations who do not deal with the bite of Winter...

I have a feeling that the UK and Germany legs of my trip will be where my hair will get some odd glances, but I have faith in the Norwegians.

I shall see soon enough, my friend!
