This stuff looks expensive, but yet it is pulling me in. Have you tried this brand or any face syrum ? @cultivateapothecary #health #beautybloggers #face #facesyrum #syrum https://www.instagram.com/p/B6HCFclhFm-/?igshid=p0j1yu6q9oas

lupintyde replied to your photo post: It looks great! Folding and attaching to the hood is the way to go, as long as the fabric isn't too heavy. A lot of faux fur with long pile has what seems like burlap for a back and it makes it really thick and heavy. You don't want the weight of the fabric to constantly pull the hood over your face, which might happen if you double up thick fabric and attach it to the edge of lighter fabric.
ladyrixx replied to your photo post: If you are sewing it on by machine, you can put like typing paper or wax paper between the fur and your presser foot to make it behave better.
Great advice, thank you both :D
syrum replied to your photo post: I actually have this one! He can't stand up for love nor money though, bless his heart.
Heh, mine either. A lot of the figures from that era don’t stand up well, so I wish more of them had come with stands to keep them upright. I have tons of problems with the Len figure from the Justice line.
thesupremecollector replied to your photo post: I really wish they would have made more of the Rogues for this line. @gorogues
Seconded! I don't know why they didn't at least make some of the other popular ones like Mark, Mick, and Digger....maybe the figures didn't sell as well as they'd hoped so they didn't make more. In the end it was just Len, Sam, and Grodd.
ashlethenggm replied to your photo post: Sam and George both enjoy ABBA. The others hate it and leave the bar the second the disco ball drops down.
Sam has a well-known love of disco, and ABBA is right up his alley. Observe:
I think this is the real reason Len said Evan was better than him.
syrum replied to your post “might add something like this to my WIP list organization method but...”
I will quietly sit and wait for Halfway House until the end of days if I have to.
well it shouldn’t be that long, I mean, hopefully, I really don’t want it to be that long
but I’m still flattered :D

syrum replied to your post: at the time I figured I was staring at Emmy...
Jessica Alba. I still don’t know how I didn’t figure it out sooner.
I wrote a whole navel-gazing blog post about my sexuality adventure! and to be honest and make this serious for a sec - I think it has something to do with the way we talk about how women look at each other and interact with each other, and the way that a certain amount of relationships between women expects commentary and awareness of each others’ physical features, such that the line between flirting and friendship gets really, really blurry - which can be hella confusing when you’re a teenager who expects to be straight.
there’s an idea of “aesthetic appreciation”, I think, where it’s “normal” for women to notice the beauty of other women, that means recognizing queer desire, as a woman, can be really fucking hard.
but anyway - Jessica Alba is mighty fine.
