Concept: KISS pirate AU, where Gene still gets to call Vinnie his Treasure~♡ Also, Paul gets one of those handsome, white flowy shirts that you see on like cheesy romance novels. Idk, plot is something to do with the Black Diamond of KISSteria, and idk Paulie's a pirate prince.
Opinion on Jonathan sketching his crows and fall related stuff to relieve some stress? Or perhaps he simply does it to take a moment not to focus and have fun doodling.
Yesss. I really like the idea of Jonathan being an artist, or at least having a bit of artistic talent. In some canons he even sketches out his future costumes, which I think is super cool. This panel comes from the Batman/TMNT Adventures crossover comics.
I like to think he’d draw a lot, sketching the world around him. He definitely has pages of crows, pumpkins and other fall related aesthetics. Alongside reading, I think it would be a nice way for Jonathan to relieve stress.

I think it's just a mistake on Rob Williams' part and we should pretend the bit about them not knowing each other didn't happen. Not the first time this situation has happened in comics, unfortunately. It's one of the perils of a shared universe and multiple writers.

Must be, although it's possible Digger's closer to 35 or so. He does look very young, and I wonder if this is one of the first instances of characters overtly aging up after they were mostly de-aged for the New 52. So it's an interesting development.

I definitely see your point about the secret agent thing, and to some extent I agree. On the other hand, I do find it stupidly funny (and 'stupidly funny' is one of my favourite things), so I'm torn there. It is definitely weird, and as noted in the review, makes his continuity a huge confusing headache. I suppose we're not meant to think too hard about it, which is awkward for those of us who do in fact like to think hard about these things.
Certainly not going to defend what they've done with Owen though, as I'm rather appalled too :\

I'm so sorry :( I hope things improve...I've seen some pretty big character clusterducks redeemed before, so it can happen. We just need a writer who cares.

I know, and I'm really sorry...I didn't tag you because I wasn't sure you'd want to see it :( Hopefully another writer will pick him up and shape him back to something we can recognize, but until then, it's tough.

That’s what I was thinking, myself, but let’s be honest...Captain Cold/Wentworth Miller is the biggest draw for Legends. Which is why they will even bring him back as toast because he’s Jesus Christ or something.

As noted here, Len proclaimed in the Johns era that he didn't pun anymore. That turned out to not be strictly true, because he did make a few, but it's possible they weren't intentional...he once said the Renegades would be "history", for example, which may or may not have been intentional. He told the others to keep a cool head in Blackest Night and Axel asked him if he was trying to be funny, but zombie Sam specifically said no to that. So Len might have been full of it when he said he didn't pun, or maybe they just slipped out accidentally as puns sometimes do.
And Axel has only known Len since the Johns era, so as far as he knows Len speaks derisively of punning and those who do it. Now, continuity has changed since that time, and maybe things are different now, but I suppose this could be Williamson's way of cementing that history and that aspect of Len's character.
I get the feeling the artist was aiming more for of the Incredible Hulk, but yeah, basically any ultra-muscular big dude :>

Me too! I like the idea of James as a father figure or big brother to Axel, even if it's somewhat reluctantly. All depends on what he’s planning, I guess.

Yes! Even if he's much younger now (since DC de-aged many of their characters and then explained it by ten years being stolen from them)...Owen is very missed. And with the time travel aspect, maybe he doesn't even have to be de-aged at all for Digger to have a son his age.

Yeah, I don't think DC has really explained or publicized the two release schedules very much, so it's something people are left to figure out on their own. I used to be confused about it too. And no problem, glad to help!

I just need a comic where Batman is staking out a supposed ‘operation’ Oswald is running, and it starts off with him following him to a park. Oswald sits down on a bench and watches as Jonathan emerges from the darkness (dressed in civilian wear). They both reach into their jackets and start to pull out something. Batman just ends up watching them take out some birdseed and start feeding the birds in the park. They discuss classic literature and theater and have a nice time surrounded by birds.
This is literally the best idea ever. I need this made into a comic.
If someone wants to write this, please do! I would, but I don’t know Oswald’s character well enough. Other than that, this is a great plot 1010
