Hey? This? This is not helpful or comforting. It feels like you're brushing people off or seeing them as weird / annoying for possibly having internalized -misia/phobia or simply self-doubts, which is way more common in marginalized communities than you think. Hear someone out. Tell them their combination of kintypes or their system origins are fine or interesting or cool. Tell them you hope they figure it out and you're sending virtual hugs. I don't know, anything else other than a short "Um, obviously." It just comes off as dismissive.

THREE FACES OF THE GOD DRAGON
Been thinking about daredevil cast + mostly Foggy nelson.
I haven't fronted in so long (if at all?) So this is the first art I'm posting!
@1tsstargaze59 Kinda yes and kinda no depending on the context! I wouldn't say it's a phobia, but she's got a relatively normal (maybe a bit more than normal) caution with dealing with heights. Maybe you could drag us to an indoor/specially built climbing facility but you could never drag us into actual mountain climbing, just as an example. Obviously physical bodies can get damaged if not killed by a bad enough fall, so it's warranted.
Meanwhile in the mind, she can't really be damaged or killed in any way that matters. So falling is generally cartoonish slapstick and while it doesn't cause longer term damage, it can still hurt. Falling usually also means loosing progress which would suck. So while it's not nearly as scary as falling in meatspace, it’s still not desirable.
One of her biggest hobbies is exploring my dreams and my subconscious in general though. That usually involves heights (mainly descending). That's what her cloak is mainly used for to help explore quicker, since we’re only in REM for so long each sleep cycle. She'd never want to go spelunking physically, but in the mind she'll do it as a means to an end.

missing someone from our exes is pretty normal for us and we feel so guilty for it because we have a wonderful fiancé. it feels selfish to miss someone that hurt us when we're happy now.
