✩°｡⋆⸜ ways to connect with your fictive ✩°｡⋆⸜
-Watching, reading or playing your source material
- Make food preference lists, aesthetics and clothing preference lists
-Make foodboards of foods your fictives would like to eat!
-Find activities or hobbies based on your fictives interests ( ie. If they like cute stuffed animals, sewing, etc etc )
- Headspace post! Allow your fictives to post and interact with new things!
-if you can, draw your fictive or their source mates!!
-Find scents that make your fictives feel more like themselves!! We use wax melts to feel more connected to ourselves sometimes!
-Read fanfiction of source material or write it! Only do this if comfortable though!
-Find and reach out to other fictives from your sources!!!
-Cook meals that your fictives will enjoy, it’s okay if it’s not much, even slight differences can help your fictives feel more at home and in control!
-Dress in clothes that you feel your fictives would like!! Or more their style!! Obviously this can be harder to do on a budget, even smaller jewelry can be nice!
-Using mannerisms from your fictive to draw them out!!! Mimicking can help them front if needed!
Obviously these aren’t required, I just feel there aren’t many posts giving fictives things to do to make themselves feel more at home in our world!!! I hope this helps anyone even slightly !!!
