He's running late today. It's not something that happens often, certainly not on Thursday nights when he has a quote un quote date with Roni, and he's frustrated to a point where he might start the evening off with a few shots before touching an ale. There is a crowd funneling into the popular pub slowly, and to him it feels like they're taking their sweet ass time getting inside, and when he nearly snaps at the group to either get in or have their conversation out of the doorway he knows that he needs to reign his emotions in lest they ruin the evening for both himself and Roni.
Finally inside he weaves his way through the crowd, the tables and even dodges a few servers to make his way to his customer seat at the bar to find it already taken by someone he hasn't seen before. His mood further sours as he watches the stranger make a few passes at Roni, and he can't quite blame them because she looks well beyond stunning tonight. It could be the way her curls are bouncing about and just barely grazing her shoulders as she tends to drink orders or perhaps the bright smile upon her face but there's also the fact that she's wearing a white shirt that draws ones eyes down the plunging neckline to her breasts and if one could tear their eyes away from such a lovely sight they might notice the curve hugging leather pants with the tiny leopard printed belt. If he's a betting man he'd bet a months salary that she's wearing those boots that have lethal eight inch heels to complete her casually sexy ensemble.
There's an open spot at the far end of the bar so he makes his way to claim the stool before he's forced to take up a seat at a table where the best he could do was to cast glances her way until she could free herself from running the bar. When he catches her gaze he offers a smile as he drags a coaster slowly across the counter surface to rest in front of him, and mouths a, "Hullo beautiful," knowing that she won't be able to hear him over the chatter and the music. A new employee comes between them to greet him asking what he'd like to have, and his immediate thought has nothing to do with whiskey and wings but he greets her politely adding that he'll wait for Roni to make her way over to him.
