Like, this literal human dictator has been using spiritual energy to create a murder weapon by cutting down the vines from the ancient swamp, and the vines attack a group of tourists, but when it’s actually time to battle the enemy they just went ‘we could totally help, but we’re just gonna leave this to the kids’ like ???????

Also, helping each other defeat the common enemy would’ve been an incredible way to showcase how humans and spirits can actually live in harmony, and that Korra made a good decision by keeping the portals open.

Korra Alone and Book 4 of Legend of Korra have one of the most interesting (in my opinion) explorations of the trauma that Avatar's can go through, focusing of course on Korra herself. As someone who struggles with PTSD, the exploration seen with Korra intrigued me - as such, I had to look into it at a deeper level.
