By Your Side...Till the Bitter End.
Pure Chaos. That was what this was. Ferocious beasts and demons had broke through and it was The Guard’s duty to stop this from happening and to force them back. Elwood was Jason’s best friend and his most trusted comrade, no one could ever fight alongside Jason like he could. Each movement they made was so natural so fluid as they had known each other for years. They have been through wars, through the horrors of war, through the pain of loss..Jason had stood by him and Elwood stood by Jason. It was the natural way they both had grown together. The battle was nearing the end and Jason and Elwood were successful in closing their Gate.Though out of the corner of his eye he saw the shine of the blade reaching towards Elwood. “NO!” Jason pushed Elwood away taking the blade straight to his abdomen. His scream pierced through the sounds of the war and bloodshed. His eyes burned bright as he reached out to use the last of his power to kill the demon as they both fell down to the ground. Jason gasping through the blood.

ADRIAN: So I haven't seen a 'Luca, Jason' on any of these reports.
ADRIAN: Luckily that means you came out unscathed?
& Sons; Nora + Jason
Nora considered herself to be a generous sort, so she didn’t think twice when asked to drive a friend to a law firm after she completed her shift at the funeral home. It wasn’t as if she had anything else to do, and the time spent chatting and catching up would’ve been more than welcome. She had, after all, spent most of her day chatting in the general direction of dead bodies and was eager for a little more lively conversation. And who could blame her, really?
Unfortunately, it seemed as though her good will was taken advantage of. Never once had she thought to ask about the nature of the trip, or how long it would take, so she found her time was spent in a lobby with a book in her hand and a placid look on her visage. The calm demeanor was effectively a facade, her minor annoyance and major concern mounting with each minute that passed by. After two hours, she’d had enough.
❝Ah -- - excuse me?❞ Her target was a man who appeared to be loitering -- - or bored, at the very least. ❝Do you know how long... hrm-- -❞ It immediately occurred to her that she had no clue what she was waiting for. Had she bothered asking what the task was, she might’ve been a little closer to knowing how much longer she would sit in anticipation of a friend who evidently planned on taking their sweet time. Instead, all Nora had gathered were vague details that left her in something of a purgatory-like state. ❝Well, actually, how long do people usually take -- - or, how long have you been waiting? I’ve been here for a few hours, waiting on a friend. I can’t really leave her, but...❞ Well, she was growing impatient and had begun sorely missing her plants and books. At least they were punctual and allowed her some sort of freedom rather than a restrictive schedule.
