Since Sentinel made it so that a ton of bots had their t-cogs taken out before they came online, that means that he would have had a massive amount of spare cogs lying around.

What did he do with them?

My brother thinks he gave them to the Quintessons, but what use would they have for a bunch of t-cogs?

I figure he squeezed out what little energon they may have had, and then incinerated them.

The cogs

neat how they put the glowing T-cogs where they normally would put the sparks; no, better said those areas in their chests are very similar to spark chambers. And then at the end of the movie they ascended the way sparks do from the Allspark- at this point it's hard to believe it's merely for the sake of the plot. I believe it's a metaphor for what Sentinel really took from them.
