Is the Wedigo arc of Amazing X-Men any good? I got the first part of the story, but the comic store I go to hasn't gotten any of the other issues yet.
TBH I’m not buying it right now. I’m not usually a single issue buyer, I wait for TPBs to come out and get those. It’s more familiar to me I guess, since I grew up buying volumes of manga that collected several chapters in one. (I make exceptions when I really want to support a title, like when Amazing started and the Nightcrawler book, but after Aaron left I stopped, and I’m not really enjoying Nightcrawler so…)
So I’ve been judging based on summaries and stuff I can dig up online. There’s always someone posting scenes of note in the wednesday-spoilers tag on tumblr. The guy who does the xmen-supreme blogspot posts a few full page scans. All I can say is Marvel wendigos have never interested me to begin with, and while I like Northstar getting some focus, Aurora is pissing me off big time (I can’t say if she’s OOC or anything, better to ask a fan of hers or Northstar’s). I do like what’s happened to Wolvie and I’m guessing the story’s climax will be pretty cool. Getting there has been sort of meh to me. (I wasn’t exactly a huge Yost/Kyle fan in the past.) Also the artist needs to stop making such a big deal about Talisman's boobs
But obviously I’m not the best person to be judging, since I’m not reading it regularly.
Okay, sorry if this is a stupid question, but why is the Kurt Wagner fandom mad at Jake Gyllenhaal? I did a Google search and looked on Wikipedia but I still don't know why. Please explain.
Ahaha, we’re not mad, not really, that’s an exaggeration. Jake Gyllenhaal is starring in a movie called “Nightcrawler,” and the first time I and apparently many others heard of it, we got false hope that it might be an X-men Nightcrawler movie.(OK, it was barely a shred of hope, given that it’s pretty unlikely we’ll ever get a Nightcrawler movie, but nonetheless we felt cheated!)So it’s not really anger directed at Jake Gyllenhaal so much as a silly expression of our secret seething jealousy. :P
Are you also a Crucible fan?
I don't know if "I read it in English" counts as being a fan...
t-keto answered your post: someone took “wesleycrusher” without h...
Your url is fine, in my opinion. Do whatever you like. I mean, I have a hyphen in my url by choice because I couldn’t use an apostrophe.
I really wish I could remove the hyphen but I can't, and I don't really have a choice... I guess I'll have to live with it. :\
Eighth Doctor
What/who is your favourite Doctor Who villain?
Hmm well I love the Classic Masters. I'm not too fond of the Master in New Who, even though I think John Simm is a fantastic actor. I'm pretty sure I'll love the Rani as well, but I haven't seen any of her episodes yet.
How do you feel about cheese? And, on a similar subject, is there any food you DON'T like?
Oh, cheese is fine. It’s particularly good in those toasted cheese sandwiches-- I quite like those. I don’t like it as much once I’ve had four of those sandwiches and—they, well, stay. The Doctor said I ought to have followed it up with a dish of stewed prunes, and I think the fact I didn’t answers the question about food I don’t like.
How are you going to celebrate the Earth holiday of Pi Day? Are you going to celebrate it?
How could I not? It’s a silly holiday, I’ll admit, but it does celebrate an extremely important numeral and generally celebrated by making a delicious foodstuff!
The Doctor made a pie, and I’d like to say that I helped, but… well, Tegan said, screamed, really, that the best way for me to help was to leave the kitchen.
