Not me having vague fic ideas over sumerus definitions/redfinitions/additional definitions regarding home and family and how it relates to kaveh and alhaitham specifically and loosely the entire academia guy group.
Anyways, one regarding home and specifically how kaveh defines a home and that it involves someone to come back to ahemhaithamahem and how he sold his childhood home after loosely (because he dad didnt intend to) being abandoned by his parents and how hes AN ARCHITECT and doesnt want to just build BUILDINGS he wants to build a home that has a soul and that isnt just a roof over someones head he wants it to have meaning. He wants it to have value that is beyond the cost of the materials (no matter how important that is) and how he sacrifices his entire life/future and trades his past for his future and ideals to give someone else a house after the first time being thwarted by the fucking world. How he doesnt even have a roof over his head afterwards and how that homelessness feeling is more than just a state now and actually feeling and being. How haitham provides a roof over his head but kaveh being the architect he is pretty much INSISTS on turning it into a home. How alhaitham might argue the samantics of calling their house a house and not a home and finally realize what the difference is and kaveh being more than just an architect but what could be called a homemaker housewife and how alhaitham might mentally note that cyno might make a joke if he were aware of the words goooooooddddddd
AND THEN ANOTHER about academic families and how both of them come from families that have been torn apart and how they came together because of their research paper but then got torn apart but how they both still cling to it and want it and how DIVERSE FAMILIES are represented in sumeru I DONT CARE IF IM STRETCHING IT from two dads and a kid to two roommates bfs not roommates to a foster mom???? God i just I KNOW THERES MORE I HAVENT DONE THIS STORY YET I JUST HAVE FEELINGS.
Back to kvthm hkvh family and how their bubbles have expanded to more than just themselves and included more people and how scholars sharing/debating their philosophies is important and how living with different ideals and sharing different ideals and perspectives are so important and how the akademiya/sumeru frames families in such a versatile manner i just have feelings
