Nyjer Morgan (and Toonces the Driving Cat) launch creepiest campaign ever for pet adoption
Don't get me wrong, I think it's a beautiful thing that Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Nyjer "Tony Plush" Morgan is supporting animal rights and the adoption of pets by lending his likeness to PETA's 'Adopt, Don't Buy' campaign. Really, I do.
But this is the creepiest photo of a hockey-turned-baseball player holding a demonic cat that I have ever seen.

Day 3 - Your Favorite CURRENT Brewers Player
Just one?
I guess I'll go with who made me smile the most this season because while I have players who I don't particularly love all the time, there really isn't a single player that I can call out as my favorite.
So, my "favorite" is Nyjer Morgan/Tony Plush. This one is a bit of a point of contention in my family. Besides my little sister and my mom, everyone else just seems to see Morgan and his T-Plush (and all of his other) personas as counter productive to our team. While he may not be our best player, I feel like he came through in a few very crucial moments and brought this fun loving attitude to the club that I can't remember ever seeing before.
(Side note: My friend Manda came over while I was writing this and I told her I was writing an Ode to Nyjer Morgan. She told me to make sure I wrote it in crazy so he could understand it.)
This is what happens when I craft in beast mode.
Take Morgan. He has at least three alter egos -- maniacal Tony Plush, countrified Tony Tombstone and Tony Gumble, the calculating "Professional." None of the four would back off from a starving grizzly.
