in my dream last night I had a Taylor Swift merch box arrive at my house (number one clue that I am in fact dreaming, like I could afford merch), and inside was some merch that does not, in fact, exist but some of it was absolutely brilliant.

INCLUDING a pack of band aids that just had stars drawn on them (yes, taylor's hand drawn stars from THAT post) with no other explanation but everyone knew. you drew stars around my scars but now I'm bleeding. perfect. 10/10 merch idea subconscious.

1989 dragged me in, so I’m always going to love that album, but my strongest attachment is to Reputation, given where I was at the time. I probably connected with Lover the least, though I still adore a few songs on it. And folklore blows me away from a musical perspective. So, without further ado...

Between T-Swift and Murder Among the Mormons, it’s been a weird first week for me at my new job

I started off writing about lawsuits and countersuits, the difference between copyright and trademark, and why anyone would think it’s a good idea to try to sue Taylor Swift over evermore.

Then I watched Murder Among the Mormons more times than any human should and interviewed the Mormon historian in the documentary about Mark Hofmann copycats. I also talked to an old friend and old school news anchor (who is also in the documentary) about why we’ll never see news coverage like the Mark Hofmann bombings ever again. 

I’ve got range, I guess.
