as a creation god, cyranus really isn’t what the average person would expect: he’s markedly unconcerned with the goings-on of the peoples he’s created and the environments he’s fostered. an artist at heart, his ruthless need to improve his craft is only ever surpassed by his need for material. he does not relish in pointless destruction, considering it wasteful; he gathers up everything he can and preserves everything he can, because everything, eventually, is useful (or is matter that can be eaten and repurposed). he’s charming and friendly, and genuinely finds people and things interesting, but has little need for them and thus is happy to ignore them. cyranus has been alive for a long time, and he’s seen a lot of his closest friends live and die, so he clings to the constants in life; his ability to create, and fenris.

as inquisitor, cyranus, going by the name jirou, leaves a lot to be desired; he is efficient, his revenge is terrible and swift, but he is distant. his companions are often left behind while cyranus does the dirty work of crushing people under his boot and reveling in inspiration that thedas brings. despite this, cyranus is kind enough, and will bring companions along if he thinks it’d make them happy (it is a good use of resources to make people happy). otherwise he flies solo and leaves a lot of mess in his wake.

in order to keep the peace, cyranus would likely have to drag fenris with him to the inquisition; with fenris around cyranus is much more approachable. he enjoys varric’s stories, finding writers and artists the closest he can get to empathising and understanding people. surprisingly, he’s close with vivienne, paying keen attention to her sense of fashion and magical choices; she’s likely the only one in the inquisition to learn of what exactly cyranus is. cyranus has to physically restrain himself from socking dorian in the nose, just once.
