Note: I have no idea what the title even is, and I’m trying out making the “paring” and “warnings” and such bold and adding the word count, as you can see, so that’s new. Also sorry for not posting, I was a bit stuck in my writing.

In hopes of defeating Dahlia, Klaus volunteered Y/n. Of course, in Klaus nature, he had yet to ask Elijah of his thoughts on using his girlfriend for his “master plan” to rid life of the evil known as their aunt. She would be the bait, the thing that helped with their plot.
Whether or not he had a say in it, which he didn’t, Mikael didn’t care for using his other son’s lover as a lure either way. Whilst the subject of not having a say is still around, it was no surprise that Klaus didn’t ask Y/n for permission either. She was, as everyone always is for her boyfriend’s brother, the unwilling bait.
On the other hand, Klaus couldn’t use her without putting her somewhere open. Somewhere Elijah wold be able to find her. Somewhere he did find her. “Y/n?”
Her head turned, “Oh. Hey you.”
“What in the world are you doing?” Elijah looked around before adding, “And why here of all places?”
“Oh, you know, just the usual.”
“Usual?”
She threw her hands up, “Sitting around, waiting to get kidnapped. This is the best day ever.”
Elijah’s jaw tightened, the look in his dreamy eyes suddenly darkening. “Do I even need to ask who’s doing this was?”
“I have a feeling you already know.”
“Your feeling seems to be quite correct.” He crossed his arms, watching his brother enter with Marcel following behind. “Hello...brother.”
“Ah, Elijah! Well, hello to you too, brother!” Klaus continued walking before he slowed to a stop next to his older sibling. “Why are you glaring at me?”
“To answer your question, Niklaus, I’m hoping you’ll spontaneously combust.”
“There’s a way to make that happen but you and I both know you wouldn’t dare.” Klaus turned to Y/n, one of the first he’d turned. “Especially not when she’s in the mix.” His grin was smitten. Y/n wanted to punch it right off his face, if it was even possible.
He turned her centuries years ago, after he’d turned Lucien, as he knew his brother loved her deeply. Trying to do what he thought to be a nice thing, he created an immortal being so she could live with him. While Elijah seemed happy with Y/n, his happiness did not spread to his younger brother.
Feeling angry and overall just over everything, Y/n looked up to her boyfriend, who was standing next to the chair she sat upon. “Can I kill him?”
He didn’t even look at her. “No.”
“Not even a little bit?” her frown was playful yet slightly genuine; Klaus got on everyone’s nerves, she was no exception.
“Y/n, my dear, if you kill him, you meet death. And we cannot have that, can we, darling?”
“No.” She grumbled. “Elijah, you’ve just defeated the purpose of my imaginary murder. I don’t even think I mind getting kidnapped anymore.”
“As long as it keeps you alive. Back to what you were saying, brother, that is precisely why I’m hoping. If I can picture it in my imagination, I’m sure I’ll feel somewhat satisfied, if not fully.”
“Elijah Mikaelson has imagination? That’s a first.” Marcel laughed from beside Klaus, his presence almost forgotten had he not spoken up.
“Yes, Marcellus, I can assure you, I indeed do have imagination. I just choose to be responsible and cautious with it. Now, for my question, Niklaus, why is Y/n here?”
“Easy! She’s the bait.” Elijah opened his mouth to speak, likely to express the rage he felt due to his brother’s actions. But, as usual, he was interrupted by Klaus, “And I’m afraid I simply cannot let you ruin my plan, brother.”
Y/n Pierce and Damon had been a secret couple until Katherine, who Damon only demanded the safety of for Y/n’s sake, used their sisterly bond to force Y/n into escaping the tomb and running with her. Hundreds of years later, Damon’s still determined to find Y/n.
