silly warm up
I don't know if its feasible to do this but I need someone, to watch the xfiles and take note of every monster of the week plotline that is unresolved in the way of the monster is still out there and able to kill people- so theres just a list of things that are canon but aren't mentioned again. Like-
There was like bees/bugs mind controlling people one time i think- and making a hivemind out of human beings. that's still happening. canonically. they didn't fix it. Missouri- you're fucked. You're absolutely fucked.t heres a bug hivemind eaten you.
I just want to see a map of America based on how fucked up and infested with active threats it is.
'oh Phyto why don't you do that?' I have been trying to finish the xfiles for genuinely more than 5 years now and didn't think to start doing until now and I fear season 9 is too late to start. Otherwise I would
Also just making note of all the injuries the agents have acquired because it genuinely feels like they've been through everything. off the top of my head Mulder was both fed LSD through his pipes for 3 days and shot in the shoulder at the same time and also shot in the head pretty much point blank and Scully was also drugged and kidnapped and attacked countless times. they should be dead. /fond
okay theres plenty to complain about in the PHM fandom but my biggest pet peeve is when people write Rocky or eridians saying 'statement' at the end of all their sentences. Rocky indicates questions because everything else it says is assumed to be a statement. It seems to be an important part of Eridian speech, something comparable would be how English speakers will change their tone to indicate questions.
Rocky only says 'statement' once in the movie, and zero times in the book. It says 'statement' after Grace has already said 'statement' in a lighthearted way in a different scene, so our options are that Rocky picked up that it's a joking way of saying something, or that Rocky genuinely thinks humans say 'statement' for emphasis. Either way it is not a normal part of their vocabulary I am tired of the misinformation.
'Your favourite gachitakuta character is probably Rudo-'
WRONG! GUITA BLAST!
Enjin is definitely not my favourite gachiakuta character by a long shot, but I do get frustrated on how the fandom sands him down, removing his main flaws to just be a "dad" to the main cast, when he. is really, not at all.
Epic and awesome dad who "Doesn't like needy women or children" (which is all but downright stated to be linked to his trauma and backstory), gave up a teenager covered in blood to human traffickers and watched them feed him garbage to see his 'potential', who repeatedly made demeaning and inappropriate comments to a deeply traumatized teenage girl, and continues to do so up to more recent chapters. Idk! I'm amazed I haven't found anyone talking about Enjin's appreciation for people who are resilient and self sufficient might stem from his guilt, that he ruined a lot of peoples fucking lives and, a lot of them weren't 'self sufficient' enough to escape like he did.
And honestly- this is the part of Enjin I enjoy the most because it's realistic. He's not perfect, he's not claiming to be. He can give motivational speeches all he likes but he still is- kind of just an asshole a lot of the time.
Anyways fandoms desire to turn every relationship ever into a nuclear family will be the death of me.
Why don't more anime characters do this? Are they stupid?
This is so stupid. Pukeko archen.
