This was a sad-looking bowl compared to my previous bowls from the same restaurant. Usually, they include some Israeli salad in the bowl.
I’ve decided the key to getting a good surprise bag from this location might be to go close to the end of the pickup window. I normally go at the very beginning of the window. I’ve noticed that they are still really busy with “regular” orders at that time. Maybe if they’re not so busy, they’ll be more thoughtful about what kind of bowl they build.
My Too Good to Go order from Taïm in Park Slope: chicken shawarma bowl with rice and French fries, Israeli salad, and two Impossible kebabs. My Too Good to Go cost: $3.99.
The bowl was delicious and filling. This was my second TGTG order at this location. Both experiences were great.
My Too Good to Go order from Taïm in Park Slope: a cauliflower shawarma bowl. The bowl contained cauliflower florets with shawarma spice, Israeli salad, pickled cabbage, coucous, and rice. A small container with hummus came on the side. My Too Good to Go cost: $3.99.
I have been a long-time fan of Taïm. I always go for the falafel, so it was nice to be forced to try something new with this Too Good to Go order. The cauliflower shawarma was really tasty. I think even people who say they don’t like cauliflower might like it.
The retail price of a cauliflower shawarma bowl is $11.50, so it was good value at $3.99.

Sabich sandwich at Taïm West Village: composed of fried eggplant, hard boiled egg, hummus, Israeli salad, marinated cabbage, tahini, and amba (pickled mango sauce), you might argue it's healthy because of all the veggies, but then again... the fries with saffron aïoli, now that's another story...
Falafel Time! And the Winner is: Taïm.
In my very humble opinion, there may be no tastier study food that the perfect falafel sandwich.
Well, if you feel the same, you should most definitely check out Taïm’s (close to the NYU campus) award winning falafels. ‘m talking about green falafel, fresh from the fryer, improbably light on the inside, with a beautiful brown, crispy shell (Taïm also has red falafel, with red pepper, and yellow, with spicy harissa.) with parsley, mint, and cilantro to add a bright freshness. Awesome!
