Some of the TA2 machinery in action at the Bang Saen Grand Prix meeting last weekend. Being a two-wheel guy, TA2 was new to me, and it gave me a tingle. These are pure race-bred muscle cars, with space frame chassis and a variety of bodies that can be thrown over the top. There were Mustangs, Camaros and AMG at Thailand's street circuit by the sea. The various engines produce 500-550bhp and are restricted to last a full season. Regulations emphasise affordability and have helped to make this a hugely popular class the world over.
