Taboo is a utmv oc I made back in 2022, particularly being a fankid of Error and Fell!
She primarily goes by she/they/it pronouns, but occasionally allows family and close friends to refer to her by masculine terms. What she wishes to be referred to at a specified time depends on how she is feeling and the situation she’s in.
Taboo does not experience gender by which it is defined by social understanding or norms. She doesn’t experience much of it, and that which she does is through means of symbolism, imagery, objects, and wording.
A nervous desister just waiting to happen, Taboo’s personality can be defined as being very jittery and impulsive. She’s very hyper aware of her surroundings, and is one to easily startle. If she’s provoked into action she often becomes either hostile or hysterical. When in an environment where she feels comfortable though, she becomes more confident in her wishes and thoughts! She also becomes more chatty and social. :]
The more angular shapes on Taboo’s body are actually areas of distortion consisting of polygons and mesh. These areas can be described as giving off a slight stinging sensation at all times, this feeling becoming more painful and apparent the more stress she’s put under. These areas also become more distorted when this happens.
Taboo tends to prefer more constructive fabrics and styles of clothing, as it helps to manage the sting of her distorted bits, though she does also enjoy the feeling of smoother fabrics and baggier styles of clothing.
She almost always has her hand warmers on at all times!
