The game of "how many lore references can you fit in one drawing?" got kinda out of hand with this one...

I chose to draw him from profile cause I learned that cards like that are referred to as "one-eyed" (he's actually missing one of his eyes, he's extremely insecure about it and hides that with illusion magic) and I thought it would be a fun little detail mddjksks

The vines were an absolute nightmare to draw but I had to include them in some way. His attitude towards life kinda reminds me of it, he will adapt, mold himself into any shape needed to climb up the social ladder.

I'm not entirely happy with this one but it was a fun exercise :]

dnd doodle. Tabaxi Bard/Wizard has a familiar named Rincewind. Every time he summons Rincewind as a different animal, he just ends ip looking like a progressively more absurd chimera-like beast. This is what he looks like now after being aummoned as a cat, a lizard,and finally an owl.

🔥Thistle, in her summer form. With Thistle I wanted to kind of invert the winter vs summer eladrin ideal. Winter thistle is a little sleepy and dower but she is also kind and compassionate. Summer Thistle is motivated mainly by anger and revenge, and can be rather ruthless. I call this version “scorched earth Thistle.”
