Delilah had a few friends she had made that she still talked to even after so many years but Tabitha was one of the most important ones. She had been named godmother to at least two of her children and she had been happy to see her friend find someone who loved her the way she deserved. Even when the color faded from their hair, they still managed to keep in touch, ‘family’ dinners at least once a month just to catch up though it was really an excuse to just see each other.
