For the WIP game... bucktommy s3 alternate meeting AU (bucktommy)? 👀

this one is an AU that diverges after 3x16. after all of the stuff with red, chimney feels compelled to reach out to an old friend, and drags buck along to hang out:

“So you’re the infamous Buck,” Tommy says, grinning and extending a hand to him. Buck glances down at Tommy’s outstretched hand and hesitates for just a moment before reaching out to grasp and shake. Tommy’s hand is huge, like a baseball mitt, and warm. So warm. “Uh, yeah, that’s me. Evan. Evan Buckley,” he stammers, continuing to pump Tommy’s arm. “Nice to meet you, Evan,” Tommy says, the corner of his mouth angling up in a smirk. “Good grip.” Buck blinks. “Huh?” “Good handshake,” Tommy says, nodding at their hands, which are still clasped because Buck still hasn’t stopped fucking shaking his hand. “Oh, uh, sorry.” Buck tugs his hand away and wipes his suddenly clammy palm off on the bottom of his shirt. “Didn’t realize I glitched out there.” Tommy’s smirk softens, the sharply angled corners rounding into something kind and almost affectionate, before turning his attention back to Chim. “I got us a booth when I came in,” he says, tipping his head toward a cozy booth stashed away in a shadowy corner. Buck’s stomach twists itself into knots when Tommy turns away from him, for some odd reason. He wishes—he wishes Tommy was still looking at him, already missing the attentive, intense spotlight of his gaze. He rubs his palms on his shirt, but that doesn’t seem to get the sweating to stop.

The Wedding Date

“FBI Cyber Crime Unit, Special Agent Stilinski speaking, how may I assist you?” Stiles balanced the phone against his shoulder as he stepped up in the line for his coffee. The girl in front of him glanced back behind her shoulder, clearly trying to eavesdrop.

“Hey, kiddo, nice title,” he heard his dad’s voice from the other end of the phone, clearly amused by Stiles’ choice of answering the phone. “All packed up and ready to come this weekend?”

Stiles nodded, then realized his dad couldn’t see his head moving. “Yeah, all set! The car is packed up, I’m getting my suit from the cleaner, and then Rick and I will be on the way!”

“I’m just so glad that you found someone, Stiles. Can’t wait to meet the boyfriend who finally convinced you to do more than play video games and study.”

45. “I can’t imagine this world without you.” for Buddie 💜

So I went down a mildly angsty route with a happy ending lmao... hope you enjoy! 💜

When Eddie enters Buck’s hospital room, he notices two things. The first is the heart monitor beeping steadily next to the bed, and the second is the sight of Buck lying in the bed – completely still.

He doesn’t know how long he stands in the threshold of the door before Maddie, who has been sitting by the bed the entire time, clears her throat. He shakes his head, as if to get the image in front of him out of his head, but when he glances back to Buck again, nothing has changed.

Maddie’s still watching him carefully as he walks closer to the bed, but Eddie’s still more focused on the man in front of him than anything else. There’s another chair opposite from Maddie, and Eddie practically collapses down into it when he reaches it.

Guilt, frustration, anger, and sadness all churn in his stomach as he looks up to finally meet Maddie’s eyes.

He whispers. “Any news?”

Maddie matches his tone, “No, brain functions are steady and healthy, but there’s still no word of when he’ll wake up.”

Eddie leans forward, elbows on his knees, head bowed. He hears Maddie’s chair scrape against the ground as she gets up and then footsteps as she walks towards him. Her hand lands on his hunched shoulder when she reaches his side.

“Eddie, there is no way that Buck being in the hospital is your fault.”

He screws his eyes shut, taking a shuddering breath. “I should have been there. I promised that I’d always have his back and I failed.”

“Eddie.” Maddie’s grip on his shoulder tightens until he turns his head to look at her. “Do you think he would rather it be you in that bed? You have a son you need to be there for. Look,” she pauses again, sucking in a quick breath, “Howie told me what happened; that he pushed you out of the way of a falling beam that hit him instead. He made that decision – not you.”

“I-”

“No.” Maddie cuts him off, remaining firm, and Eddie almost smiles at the glimpse of Big Sister Maddie that Buck always lovingly complains about. “Now I’m gonna give you some time alone, okay? I better not find you wallowing in self-loathing when I get back.”

“Yes, ma’am.” Eddie mutters, and with one last squeeze of the shoulder, Maddie is walking out of the room. He takes a fortifying breath before moving his chair closer to Buck’s bed, reaching out to grab one of the younger man’s hands in his own.

“I don’t know where to start, Buck. I’m so angry at you for getting yourself hurt while trying to save me, but I love you so much it kills me inside.”

He watches Buck’s chest rise and fall, and listens to the beeping of the monitor, oddly comforted by the noise it makes. At least, he supposes, he knows for sure that Buck’s heart is still beating.

“Evan,” he realizes that tears have started streaming down his face and reaches up to wipe them away with his sleeve. “I need you to wake up soon, okay? Because I can’t imagine a world without you in it. So you need to wake up.” His voice cracks, and he wipes away more tears. “Chris needs you to wake up. Your little baby niece needs you to wake up. We all need you here.”

Maybe it’s the sound of his voice, or maybe it’s the mention of Chris and his niece that does it, but just as Eddie is about to open his mouth again and keep rambling, he feels Buck’s hand twitch beneath his own.

Liam grimaces as he trudges out of the lake completely soaked, his clothes clinging in all the wrong places. There are stray leaves in his hair and mud in his shoes and it’s horrible, horrible, horrible.

Theo is laughing on the shore. Perfectly dry, damn him.

“It’s not funny,” Liam says, wringing out his shirt.

Theo doesn’t stop laughing.

“Theo,” Liam growls. He stomps forward, his shoes making wet slapping noises against the dirt which only makes Theo laugh harder. “Theo!” Liam grabs him by the collar.

Theo finally starts to calm down and wipes a tear from the corner of his eye. “Oh, Liam. Great job catching that will o’ wisp, it never saw you coming.”

“I’m pushing you into this lake.”

“I stopped laughing, okay, chill out. Liam, no, no stop, these shoes are suede, they can’t get wet—”

A short grappling match ensues, neither of them budging an inch no matter how hard Liam pushes Theo towards the lake. Not that he’s trying all that seriously—Liam is acutely aware that the suede shoes were a birthday gift from Liam’s mom to Theo. She’ll never forgive Liam for ruining them.

So instead, Liam settles for rubbing his wet face and hair against Theo’s neck.

“Liam!” Theo yelps, trying in vain to escape Liam’s embrace. Liam tightens his grip around Theo’s waist.

Theo sighs. He doesn’t sound as put upon as Liam expects. Theo never really sounds annoyed at him, anymore.

Theo huffs and cups his hands beneath Liam’s jaw, angles his face upwards. Liam blinks at his familiar grin, at the amused tilt of his eyebrow.

“Always full of surprises, aren’t you?” Theo says, thumb brushing over Liam’s cheek.

And that, for whatever reason, makes Liam feel warm all over, despite the chill brought on by his wet clothes. Feeling overwhelmed, he buries his face in Theo’s chest. Theo doesn’t complain about Liam’s wet hair this time.

“Let’s go home?” Liam says.

Theo takes his hand and begins the walk back to his truck.

“You’re sitting in the trunk, by the way,” he says sweetly, then curses when Liam kicks him behind one of his knees.

I think the scene when she leaves with Podrick to go and find Sansa, after Jaime gifts her with new armour and 'OathKeeper'. [S4 EP4]

Firstly the music is just magical and emotional - it adds so much weight to the scene (plus did you know that the music that plays in this scene is their official theme song?😭)!

Also the way Brienne turns around while she's leaving on her horse and Jaime's just watching her like he doesn't want her to go 😭

Truth or Consequence [ Teen // 86K // Complete ]

When Theo is 8 years old, life as he knows it changes. He loses his family in an accident, and winds up with his sister’s heart. He spends the next few years living with Liam and his family, and trying to figure out what his life is supposed to be like now. Along the way, he falls for Liam and the two start dating. Until one night, the Dread Doctors come for him. Theo’s memories are taken from him and replaced with false ones, leading him to believe he’s been with the Dread Doctors since the accident. When he comes back to Beacon Hills, he’s there with a purpose. To get power and pack. He’s ready to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. What he’s not counting on is Liam, and the strange pull he feels towards him.

This long fic honestly has it all. It’s sweet and romantic in parts and devastating in others. The way that the author has so painstakingly woven canon details into her fic is astounding, but the resolutions definitely leave you feeling happier than in the show. All of those thiam moments that you love and adore are made anew in this fic. If you haven’t read it yet, then what are you waiting for?!

The President’s Son [ Teen // 9K // Complete ]

All Liam Dunbar has ever wanted was a normal life. That all goes out the window when his mother is elected as the first female President of the United States. Now he has to be the model son, not wanting to do anything to give the press reason to talk. Then he meets Theo Raeken at a bookstore and everything changes.

An absolutely incredible adaptation of the Disney Channel Original Movie. The subtle nods back to the source materials and the fresh new scenes are absolutely amazing. You’ll laugh and fall in love with Theo and Liam just as they fall in love. And Liam’s mom in this? She’s a fantastic addition and you’ll just want to hug her.

Will You Stay Awhile (Stay Forever)? [ General // 5K  // Complete ]

The five times Theo stays the night somewhere and makes breakfast, only to leave. And the one time someone makes him breakfast and asks him to stay.

This story is one that has a near and dear place in my heart. We are suckers for a good 5 + 1 story and this doesn’t fail to deliver. Your heart will ache for Theo each time he leaves and when the tables are turned, your heart will scream with joy. It’s such a lovely journey about finding a place to belong.

This One Will Do Nicely [ General // 4K // Complete ] 

A look at how Liam's Mom Jenna finds out about him being a werewolf and everything that comes with it. Including one Theo Raeken, who she makes it her mission to learn more about. If that means a little meddling and doing what she can to make sure Liam and Theo are happy, well that's her business.

If you know tabbytabbytabby’s fics at all, then you know that it’s her we have to thank for Liam’s mother being called Jenna, and the amazing characterisation that she’s built for her. This fic, told through Jenna’s eyes, is about acceptance and love, and will make you smile from ear to ear as Jenna conspires to find out the truth about why Liam has been distant for the past year, as well as who this Theo is that sneaks into her son’s room every night. A must read!

Theo and Liam get stuck together by a witches spell. The only way to fix it is to give in to what they most desire.

This fic is just breathlessly good. You get a glimpse of puppy pack dynamics, with Liam forced to take on the role of alpha when every avenue of help is being closed in their faces. He does what he thinks is best, but learns that there are consequences to every action. Some of those consequences just happen to include mutual hand jobs!
