Mini Visual Stories through the Eyes of a Photographer

Fifty-two weeks in a year. Each one a chance to create something new and wonderful, to increase self-awareness and seek out new points of inspiration. Using this as her impetus, artist and photographer Tabea Mathern spent a year creating a series of photographic works, one a week, telling playful mini-stories.

 The striking colors, forms and scenarios of the photographs whimsically engage viewers – it’s just the kind of imagery to chase the winter doldrums away.

An exhibition showing the fifty-two works opens this Friday, January 30, at Rudolf11 Workspace in Berlin.
