Okay, back to Tassie 1997. An early edition of things-through-weeds. Somewhere near the Table Cape region of Northern Tasmania. And a lighthouse for good measure. Interesting that this lighthouse is not on some windswept, rocky cape, but bang in the middle of the fertile farmland.

Came back from Tassie Wednesday night after two weeks spending quality time with loved ones. Aside from the people, my other favourite thing about Tassie is how beautiful it is - crazy weather and all. It will always be home to me 😊👌❤
A patchwork of colour from the sky above Table Cape and Boat Harbour with @leeannemarshall. This past weekend saw the culmination of the 2015 Bloomin' Tulips Festival, an annual celebration of colour, community and the joy of Spring in @TasmaniasNW. A superb shot, Leeanne - thanks for tagging #discovertasmania. #tulips #tasmaniasnorthwest #boatharbour http://ift.tt/1hAXahx
The vibrant red and green curtains of the Aurora Australis complimenting the fields of tulips on Tassie's North West Corner. This area, near Wynyard and Table Cape, lies on a series of dramatic cliffs looking out over Bass Strait. Each year, during late September through to mid October, the fertile fields explode with colour, drawing people from far and wide to walk amongst this stunning tulip spectacle. The major event within the three week display is the Bloomin' Tulips Festival, which culminates this Saturday - we can't think of a better way to welcome our Tassie Springtime! Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, @Leannemarshall! #BloominTulips #TableCape #Wynyard #TasmaniasNorthWest #SeeAustralia http://ift.tt/1NsieoS
A delightful carpet of colour surrounds the Table Cape Lighthouse near Wynyard in Tassie's North West in this shot from @mychairaffair. The iconic Table Cape is a dramatic and fertile landform that extends into Bass Strait. The region is home to the Bloomin' Tulips Festival - an annual celebration of colour and beauty which culminates this Saturday 10 October. Scenery and celebrations like this are sure to make you smile! Thanks for tagging #discovertasmania, Julie. #tablecape #tulips #festival http://ift.tt/1OhxF1I
